The Montgomery Ferry / Monroe Ave Street sign that used to be at the corner by your house… yeah… hopefully they’ll be replacing that soon. Fear not, I didn’t take it out, but I was immediately behind the 18-wheeler, turning from your road, right on to Monroe, that slowly over the course of two red-light cycles, took it out, honking all the while at traffic on Monroe to backup and give him room. I only hope Magoo (perhaps the 2nd car behind me?) saw it too. I was laughing my ass off as in very slow motion the truck crept along, each inch it lurched forward taking the sign a little bit lower…. and lower… and lower… and lower…. until finally he hit the “fuck it” point, and took off, flattening it and moving on.
Weeeeeee. Tonight was fun.
I might be a little drunk still, but no longer in danger of “revisiting”.

i was going to follow you but thought better of it when i heard/saw the truck…so i turned left and took the trusty ‘ol ‘Ponce-to-Freedom Parkway-to-75/85-to-20′ route home instead.
last night was mucho funo. glad you didn’t end up revisiting.
Last night Was good! I had a blast. And I’ll be sure to tell the sign man to make us a new one.
I wonder if we can get that old one for the place?
