Light The Night Walk: Taking Steps Towards Cures

17 Sep 2009 by flerly, No Comments »

On October 10th, my mother and I will be participating in the Light the Night Cancer walk in Atlanta, Georgia, in memory of my father, who passed away in 2001 from colon and liver cancer. We will be joined in the walk by my friend Stacy, who walks in honor of her father, currently going through chemo treatments for pancreatic cancer.

This walk is raising money for a very important cause: close to us all: finding better treatments and cures for blood cancers so patients can live better, longer lives through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk. I’m asking you to help by making a contribution! Please use the link in this message to donate online quickly & securely. You will receive an email confirmation of your donation as soon as it is made. We thank you in advance for your support which will make a difference in the lives of thousands of patients battling cancers.

We really appreciate your generosity!!
