quick vent…

I cannot ever actually FINISH anything here. EVER. I couldn’t tell you how many times I have made a “last list of changes” for a new site before it goes live, only to find an hour later a whole new list of changes.

Come by right NOW, Jonathan, for your “hourly-how-swamped-is-Kim” report on whether the new sites will be finished in time this week. It would be a good time to tell you how much i freaking hate every damn one of our project managers at this moment. Even Marc.. he’s not here, he’s at the beach for the rest of the month, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have crap happening on his sites for the month. He left me some vague retarded emails… he has had four websites built with the exact same fucking graphics, which include a large paragraph in latin that is just space filler for welcome text, and a graphic with the office address that says “office address here/ office phone here / office fax here”. For four sites. All the same crap. Uhuh.. these will be ready to go live tomorrow night.

Grrr… hey look! A NEW emergency! Wow, another MLS wants to cut us off! Who wants to move to Louisiana anyway…

I wouldn’t mind… as long as it was into New Orleans, proper. Otherwise, no thanks, you can keep it.

nah, you don’t even want to live in New Orleans. That is one of those places its just way better than to visit. I wouldn’t ever want to live there again. But I’ll visit.

Ah, you see, I haven’t been to New Orleans since I was a kid… Hell, I haven’t been back to Louisiana since ’93, and that was just back to Baton Rouge for my Grandfather’s funeral.

We’re considering heading down that way tis August for vacation… (Yes, I know- who wants to be in Louisiana in August? No one- It’ll be cheap and easy.)
