If you’re too lazy to write your own haiku on Fridays.. or too busy even.. you might try this.

Well, Kramer just left again, for good. Off to Florida for Law School. No more time to contract with us. Pity, because JasonC is still out of the loop in Santa Ana, and there will surely be shit nobody else can do.

Meanwhile… I’ve done TWO things today. Count them.. one before I came to work, and one since. Sad really. I’ve been sitting here for hours babbling on LJ, babbling on IM, babbling in person, enjoying my first taste of a diet vanilla PEPSI (which is much less sweet and more tolerable than a vanilla coke IMHO). I’ve learned Marc blew his motorcycle’s engine running it low on oil (he didn’t check it, light came on a sec before it backfired and died). I’ve learned Marc’s wife was in a hit and run accident near our apartment complex on Saturday. I’ve learned that our 800 number will be forwarded to Santa Ana call center starting Monday (so if anybody needs me you’ll have to dial the local number). I’ve learned that I don’t know how to sit up straight in this chair and my neck and shoulders are killing me. I’ve learned that it stresses me out to drive around with my check engine light on (I hope I can do it for the week anyway).

Blah… babble and nonsense. Most of all, I decided I want my hair colored like Lisa Marie Presley’s on this month’s Jane. I think it would look all right curly, too, and definitely make my hair look better when I take the time to straighten it. Wonder where a good place in Atlanta to have that done would be? I haven’t been out for a professional hair color in…. um… forever.

Is it time to go home yet?

I had a neon once and ran around with my check engine light on for months and when i got it taken in it was somethiing dumb like the air bag sensor was blown. Par has had his on for at least 6 months and no issues at ALL. I wouldn’t worry about a weekend.

i find that usually the problem indicated by the check engine light is some electrical malfunction that causes it to come on for no reason.

you’ll have to have it fixed before your birthday – if your check engine light is on, you won’t pass the emissions test. doesn’t even matter what the problem is – even a blown fuse. Just a head’s up.
