I’ll fix you little sensor light…

Well.. I’ve made the trek to Car Max and dropped off my baby for inspection. I’m massaging my check card to make sure she’s ready for the immanent cost of what they find. Thanks to Car Max’s nice “shuttle” service…. which consisted of some kid which looked like he should have been in school today driving one of their loaner cars, flipping radio stations the whole way… I am actually at work way earlier than usual.

Imagine… the server migration is still happening. As of 8 am, the email announcement said it would be up by “mid-morning.” As of 9 am, the email announcement said it SHOULD be up by noon.

Anyway.. as usual, when things are.. hard to explain in my life, this journal usually goes empty of all but the most basic of reports. Had a horrible day yesterday from the moment I woke up, which was too early after the hour I went to bed. Actually, the whole going to bed part was pretty crappy, too.

Let’s just say… Skittles, dear one, we need to talk, and you can begin the self-pity now because we’re all going to harp on you. I hear I’m lucky my phone was out of service yesterday. Embarassed I mention this “publicly”? Well, we’re embarassed you do these things publicly. Wake up call.

*sigh* BIG breath. Yesterday’s half-assed minature golf and a late night swim almost made me feel normal, but hard to get over being angry over too many out of control things right now. But…must get into a work mode… still have that design project to work on even if the live servers are down. And still have to beg somebody here to take me back to Carmax later. AND of course, today is the day we supposedly find out our job fates and severance options.

I’m afaid there isn’t much I can say. Sorry I called. I should have had better judgement. I would say don’t worry about me but I doubt that would work. I will improve in the future. In the end all is fine across the board. Lucky for me.
