the news: I missed the axe again. Down to seven, and I’m still one. October 1st I’ll be working from home and communicating with the other dwarves over email to get things done.
am I lucky to be spared? le sigh. I inquired about severance for those who aren’t staying, and whether or not that severance would apply down the road for people spared now, but who don’t make the cut, say, 30 days later when we reduce to 2 or 3. That news is still unavailable.
But, at least I’m not 3 paychecks from being unemployed. Now I’m probably 4.
