how exactly do you write out that cracking the whip sound?
Ladies and gents, I am totally whipped. Not only did Atlanta Rocks kick my ass yet again last night (and my hands and my shoulders, by the aches and pains I still feel), but I also demonstrated shortly after leaving how I now merrily fall in line to whatever course of action my husband suggests, without the apparent ability to think for myself. Long story. Don’t ask. I’m just beating myself up.
Last night when we finally got home I plopped down on the bed and vowed I would never move again. It wasn’t even 9, and already I could tell I was going to be hurting. Lucky for me the remote control was in reach and they were airing the series finale of Buffy again for me to watch. *le sigh* I will miss that show. Someday I’ll invest in the DVDs I guess.
At a 2 for $20 sale at Best Buy yesterday I did invest in some other DVDs, though. Special editions of Desperado and Mask of Zorro for my Antonio fix. I also got a 4-mile walk workout (love that Leslie Sansone) and … don’t laugh (any more than James did)… the first Goddess workout video, Introduction to Bellydancing. Yes, yes. Go ahead. Laugh. You know you want to. Haven’t tried the latter, but have to say trying the 4-mile walk before heading out to climb last night may not have been the best idea. Probably contributed to my total exhaustion afterwards, but oh well. Sweat is good.
Today.. overslept, skipped breakfast, didn’t pack lunch… maybe I should skip that, too. We’re planning to pig out tonight on more carbs that I probably get in a month usually. Jim messaged me that poor Samuel whined and cried in his travel cage all the way to his new home yesterday.. never calmed down. Poor cat. Kitty doesn’t seem too traumatized at his absence. She doesn’t hang out by the front door nearly as much is the only difference I’ve noticed.
Oh well. Is it Wednesday already? Short weeks rock. I guess I ought to get some work done.

WWWWWHHHHHPPPPSSSSSSSHHHTTTT!!!!!
Uhm.
Buffy rocks, can’t believe I missed the finale. Oh well, less crying time is always good. 🙂
And…belly dancing rocks. I tried that once, but then I broke up with the chick that had gotten me started on it. Ah, well. But really, great work-out.

Yeah.. that’s the noise I keep hearing in my head!
I mean.. yeah. Buffy rocks, and I did tear up. Worst thing is, I had decided to attempt to move during the last commercial break, made it all the way to the sink, and applied a nice mud mask, which I figured would dry during the end the give me added excuse to move again, all the way into a hot shower that I knew would make me feel better. Of course, didn’t think about what a facial mask would do if you’re wearing it while you’re all teary eyed…
I’m just glad nobody walked in to see me in that state.
OH.. and the Bellydancing series.. the Goddess workouts… came highly recommended as a very easy workout routine to pick up, good for out of shape folks who aren’t professional dancers or anything. I’ve been trying to rent workout dvd’s from Netflix to try them out and see what I actually like, and I just have to say stear clear of the MTV workouts… good lord. I don’t think I’d be coordinated to do their shit after 10 years of dance classes.

Glad to see that you’re learning to be a wife. You should fall in line at your husband’s suggestion. A wife shall be a servent unto her husband (somewhere in the bible) You’re catching on fast;)

Thanks, Pete. I’ll remind my sister, if I ever get to visit her.

Now why would you instantly assume that it’s not your sister who posted that?

Oh, I dunno. From the latest stories that have been creeping in from Alabama way, I just don’t get the impression that she’d be on the “your husband is always right” bandwagon right now… something about e-bay addiction?
But, what do I know. That’s why they call it ASSume.
