Aloha oe… Farewell to thee…
Everyone,
Although I am technically with FNIS until the 30th, this will be my last day in the office.
I just wanted to thank everyone for the last 4 1/2 years. Despite recent “problems” I have really enjoyed working here. It is my hope that wherever I end up landing, I find people that I can get along with half as well.
I wish you all the best of luck, whether you are staying or following me out the door.

In a brief IM session to JasonChurchill, we lamented the loss of “the lunch gang” and the ritual foosball. Perhaps someday, we’ll have a reunion. At JamesM’s going away get together (at the usual Sidelines of course) former Com-suck employees came by to say hello. I must say despite the day to day bureaucracy, it is rare to find a place to work where you make such friends that the bonds extend beyond the daytime working relationships. These are friends. And they will be missed.
I just hope those few that remain aren’t following you out the door anytime soon, JamesM.
Disturbing, yet typical, work news today about The Things to ComeTM. I won’t elaborate, it’s dull. But readers may remember the plan was to close our office doors October 1st ….
