even when you just dribble it out of an inappropriately named no-spill mug, hot chocolate is hot on your skin… ask me how I know? Well, this shirt looks better with brown spots anyway.
Good morning. It’s not really a good morning. Slept poorly, and I’m not really sure why. Just having terrible problems this week falling asleep. Could it be JamesT there beside me, falling asleep on his new schedule? I guess.. that is unusual. Could it be me worrying over him being sick? Could be. Who knows. I’ll get over it.
Well, I started working out regularly on August 1st. That’s been 2, 3, or 4 mile cardios 5 times a week. I can tell a difference, fitness wise, but I’m just not really satisfied. I keep seeing those Bally’s commercials for the 30-day makeover, and realizing I’ve been on this for over 30 days is sort of disappointing. I know, I know.. you don’t gain the weight overnight, you won’t lose it overnight. But, I did thoroughly check out the Bally’s plan and print out some info so I can try to follow their (Nazi workout) regime. That means, 3 or 4 mile cardio 5 days a week, plus a 30-45 minute strength routine after the cardio each day. It’s the strength routine I need to figure out.. I suck at that stuff. But, well, I used to suck at the cardio stuff, too.
We interrupt this post for a hour long meeting. And now.. lunch beckons from the fridge. I’m hungered. Time to break out that big phat deli salad & nummy feta-cheese dressing… Man, I really babble sometimes. Apologies.
