hello!
It’s time for a break…
I’ve been verbally smacking stupid-customer-service-ass all morning. Woke up today to find a hoard of new remedy issues all from some originator called “aware”. instead of someone’s name. I was thinking, WTF… aware? So I checked a few out, and it seems “aware” is the highly ironic name for the Customer Service group to report issues under. And lo and behold, they assign all this crap to me, which I do believe is way over their authority to do… so I told them. But, well, you know me and I can’t just stop there. I also read the issues and explained to them how as customer service and support for our product that the issues they were sending me were issues that our own customers are supposed to be able to do themselves. As customer service people, these customers were probably calling them to find some instruction, and instead got these things reported as “problems” and escalated through the system, which really only goes to show how stupid these customer service people are. Perhaps, I informed them, before they should be allowed to support our products, they should sit through a training session or two on how to use them. I recommended Jeannette Walsh, of our Education group (who I believe is still employed with us), and suggested that if they sent me more things to do that they couldn’t figure out how to do or explain to a customer, that I was going to begin billing them for the work.
Yeah. Not very nice, I know, but after writing up something similar for the first three issues (remedy is very slow) I received a carbon-copy on a finger-wagging email from Patrick Downey to the customer service group explaining in much more diplomatic terms what I had just said. I like to be backed up on my opinions, makes me feel good.
Anywho.. I am sore from climbing. I think I got a little excited to be there and forgot to stretch… as in, I don’t remember stretching at all. Guess I was too happy to see Paul had finally decided to show up with Kit. I know he was intimidated his first time out, but I hope he comes back. We all sorta paired off, but I think it might have been fun to have kept together more. Oh well. C’est la vie. I guess it was all fun. I bought a new punchcard, so I guess I’ll be going back. Those of you who know about the personal issues going on just know I was still grumpy last night. I need a break. I am not going to mom’s this weekend, but I don’t know what I am doing. And then next weekend? Well… yeah. Leaving that one up in the air. I’ve tried idly to price weekend getaways, but who can afford that stuff.
I think I need lunch and some mindless shopping.

I don’t think you’d have to twist my arm to drag me to Ross. I want to hit a Tuesday Morning, too.
