Yeah.. no warning. It was 8:30 when JamesT got home and said.. wanna go to this? It starts at 10. We hadn’t even eaten dinner yet…
Wish somebody else would have shown. Bigger group would have been better than just the three of us.

Eleven50 opened for my friend’s band, Eden at the Dark Horse before they changed it over downstairs. They were great. Wish I’d had warning.

i’ve been wearing out ferry corsten’s ‘punk’ lately. dj rap is hott but she trainwrecks.

other than the 4 hour Playstation commercial showing on the stage backdrop and ceiling, it was good. James and Brad were calling DJ Rap – DJ cRAP though, after she spun up her Nirvana remix. Corsten JamesT enjoyed, though… but man, he didn’t hit the stage until 2 and we’re old and work dayshift now, so it was tough to do more than sit on their cushy sofas and try not to fall asleep listening to it.
Thought of you as soon as we got there, though. Look at all those cool people with their glowsticks… I want to be just like them… You couldn’t dance without getting hit over the head or stabbed by a flying glowstick. One poor guy, man, was feeling left out and had to resort to holding up his blue-glowing cell phone and swirling it around for a while just to fit in. We laughed our asses off at people.

I didn’t go but I heard Corsten played an amazing set.
Damn I’ve known about this party for over a month now, it’s just I wish they would do these on weekends when most of us have the next day off to recuperate.
They have been having parties like this at Eleven50 and Riviera over the last few months. They just recently had PVD and Armin van Buuren (which kicked ass but again.. on freaking weeknights!!)
The next big one is going to be Ministry of Sound at Level 3 on 11/21 (finally a Friday!!).

yup most of the best acts are almost always on weekdays. promoters are cheap, what can you say.
the crescent room has been having a lot of goot talent lately too and those are more often on weekends.
about the ministry of sound… yeah thats the stephane k and john creamer show. i’m considering going… should be a lot darkier and more progressive house sound.
