Ummm
James has been playing SOCOM II on the playstation. Wonder if the SEALS use the same hand signals as SWAT teams. If so, this chart might come in handy for him. I mean, a SEAL has to know how to silently signal his teammates to aim for the ass, right?
Dinner at Murphy’s for Nicola’s birthday was good. Hope she enjoyed herself. We did, just because it’s nice to get out and see them and meet new people. I think we’re committed to climbing Monday night… which should be a good thing. I’m sure I’m so out of practice I’ve regressed back to worse than I was before. In theory, If I’m really going to do the Body Challenge, I should wait and go after the weigh in, so we might do that. Who knows.
Today…. it is so freaking hot. =) Nice, isn’t it? Let’s all take the laptop down to the pool, shall we? Not… sounds like too many neighbors are out having fun right now anyway. Egads have we got one particular set of annoying neighbors right now… well, both sides have their moments, what with all the kids and the throwing barbeques on the front porch/street… but the really annoying neighbors of the moment are the people stage left. They used to just be annoying because their garage was too full to pull their Jeep into, so they’d park it in front of their garage door, sideways, instead of in a space…. this blocks a nice fat portion of the road to get past them and on to our house and the other apartment building in this cul de sac. Now, they seem to have gotten a lovely new thumping cd for Christmas, one single cd, which they must love dearly, because it is the only one they ever play. Inside the apartment, it comes thumping in through the wall from about noon until sundown. And outside the house, it can be heard thumping from the stereo in the Jeep as they lounge about in lawnchairs just sitting around in their garage with the door open. Perhaps I’ll let it get quiet, then go turn on some loud epic extended LOTR movie with some good clanking battle scenes and see if it can be loud and annoying with the sub scooted over to that neighbors shared wall.
Well, after a little post-birthday-dinner get together at Skittles to play with pups and drink more wine, I think we’ve decided to do a dinner/poker night tonight. Guess that means if I’m going to finish any work this weekend, I’d better get on it soon. I’ll go do that.
I am The Wheel of Fortune The Wheel of Fortune represents unexpected encounters and twists of fate. You can’t predict surprises; you can only be aware when one is circling around. Indeed, Card 10 often suggests wheel-like actions – changes in direction, repeating cycles and rapid movement. When the energy of the Wheel arrives, you will feel life speed up. You are caught in a cyclone that may deposit you anywhere. “Round and round and round she goes, and where she stops, nobody knows.” For a full description of your card and other goodies, please visit LearnTarot.com |

I am The Hermit
The Hermit often suggests a need for time alone – a period of reflection when distractions are limited. In times of action and high energy, he stands for the still center that must be created for balance. He can also indicate that withdrawal or retreat is advised for the moment. In addition, the Hermit can represent seeking of all kinds, especially for deeper understanding or the truth of a situation. “Seek, and ye shall find,” we have been told, and so the Hermit stands for guidance as well. We can receive help from wise teachers, and, in turn, help others as we progress.
