Be ready to answer these interview questions…
Why did you leave your last job?
It sort of left me, you know, when they stopped paying rent on the building. I tried to keep doing it from home, but…
Give me an example of your proudest accomplishments.
Continuing to get a paycheck long after the company had relocated without me…
What features of your last job did you dislike?
That I had to stay by a phone in case someone wanted to check to see if I was working, since they couldn’t tell by checking tickets or looking at the finished sites…
What is your greatest weakness?
My inability to keep my opinion to myself….
What are your greatest strengths?
The fact that I work by myself, so when I go off on somebody, they’re not here to hear it.
I’m a little worried about your lack of–
Office building? Co-workers? Boss? Pants?
What is your current salary?
The same as last year because I kept my mouth shut when they skipped our employee evaluations.
Describe a difficult coworker you’ve had to deal with.
Shall I start with the A’s?
Tell me about a recent mistake you made in your last job.
Not using the free time it gave me wisely to train for and find another job. Of course, that all ends now.
Can we check with your current employer?
If you can find them, be my guest. My W-2 said they’re somewhere in Florida now…

I was originally going to write something hateful in this reply…but you know what? I’ve changed my mind. I hope you have a nice day and find a better job.
