ugh

is it work? is it stress? who knows, but i feel like hammered shit. Two solid days of headaches, that no Claritin or Excedrin could put their names on, led to two nights of little sleep. This morning, I was up at 5 with my throat feeling closed-up, and aching, and decided to hit the Thera-flu severe cold. I dunno, I ache and I have a sore throat, and of course now, after sleeping in thanks to Thera-flu, I have non-focusing medicine-head.

(newest) boss called today to assure me that layoffs are (again) over. 3 rounds in 3 weeks. wunderbar. of course, my voice sounded like shit, and he was sympathetic, saying he understood how stress and worrying about a job can wear on you, and that i should try to relax now. great, i’ll relax. i already told him that if layoffs don’t get me, that i need some vacation days this month. i’d like to take friday to head to mom’s early, but i’m not sure how that will work out, with me getting next to nothing done today. I guess later on tonight i’ll probalby sit down and crank through another 80 sites or so in a few hours. that’s how it worked out yesterday. i have this whole week, now, to finish them.

on top of it all, i did the dumbest thing the other day…. i was just thinking about stuff as I came downstairs and missed the last step. somehow, i ended up trying to stand on the top of my left foot instead of the bottom. it hurt like hell, but didn’t really seem to swell or anything, but in the past couple days it’s gotten steadily more sore. i’m so retarded.

i wish my new netflix movies were here already. it may be sunny. the a/c may be on, but all i feel like is curling up under blankets and sleeping for a month. and i’m sick of hot tea. i think i want ice-cream. stupid throat.
