the week in brief…
Neighbors have moved out of apartment G again this weekend, leaving us with no downstairs cable. Yes, we pay for cable television, but the bottom floor of the townhouse apparently gets its cable as a branch off of apartment G rather than from our own other, upstairs cable. Each time that apartment empties, our downstairs cable goes out, we call Comcast, they come turn downstairs back on, all is well — except that I don’t see why, if they KNOW the problem, they don’t rewire something and fix it? But, alas, they don’t. They don’t charge us for the fix, of course, but they don’t compensate us for the inconvenience either.
In other news…. Howard, where art thou, Howard? Alas, it seems another boss has gone the way of the dodo. Thankfully, though, I am now pretty well trained on how to implement and update sites for Broker/Office, in the new Broker/Office ticketing system, and still being assigned plenty to do without having a boss. Is it weird to have a job that you actually just check your bank balance twice a month to see if you’ve been paid or laid off?

Um, no. And thank goodness I’m not the only one.
