Travelling Tuesday

Today, I woke up to find my fed-ex package sitting outside the front door, so I have now happily hung my pretty Chinese lantern. It is a day of travel for a lot of my co-workers who are on their way to Hawaii for a week of fun, sun and training. Kudos for JasonC’s efforts to get me added to the list of folks, but… eh, who’d want to leave Atlanta with this wonderful weather we’re enjoying….

So last night the downstairs was so cold that the boyz joined me at my crappy TV for some Monster House and pizza. JamesT then moved his guitar upstairs to the bedroom, so he could practice up there while I watched TV. Then we snuggled under the blanket and used the lappy to browse condos in our price range and watch 30-second movie reenactments by bunnies (thanks ).

Anywho, I’m still working on the two things I really wanted to get done on Monday. This stuff is taking me longer to work out than I’d like. Some of this shit just isn’t working the way it should and it’s frustrating. I’m hoping nobody notices how behind I am since they’re travelling… maybe not even until after they get back. Doubtful it will work out that way, but fingers crossed, and I did get a lucky cat today with my lantern order.

Speaking of cats… I was just noticing my little desk photo of Psycho-cat, RIP. Am I weird to keep a photo of an old dead pet around? He is missed still, and I do sometimes wonder how he’d be getting along with these crazy fighting bitch cats we have now.

Oh well. Must also remember to call Mom tonight since I’ve been thinking of her, too, on the day of her wedding anniversary. Don’t need to remind her of that. Just need to let her know she’s loved.
