The good, the bad, and the blue-stained.

Posted in Crazy Wisdom on Friday, January 21, 2005 at 12:53 pm by flerly.

I have some sort of mystical blue thumb that causes various items of white clothing to end up with mystery blue spots on it after I wash it. We’re talking multiple camis, white shirts, and now my favorite white sweater. Where does the blue come from? If it had been one screwed up load of clothes I would just look for the mystery sock, but this happens every time I wash whites now.

Blech. Thanks to I finally got to enjoy watching Garden State last night. I think the boys would like it too so I’m going to suggest we watch it downstairs at some point over the weekend. Perhaps Magoo would come and join us to watch it, since there also seems to be a birthday present sitting here with her name on it — must be something from the cats.

I also just finished reading a wonderful book, Island of the Sequined Love Nun by Christopher Moore, and I can’t wait to go out and get something else by him even though I have a perfectly good waiting-to-be-read stack at home.

And, let me send big congratulations to Justin and Nicola on their engagement! Wheeee!

Oh well. I have a pile of emailed remedy issues to tend to. Should get on it….

Oh my! I’m about to read that book too. After reading Practical Dragonkeeping (or whatever it’s called). My friend Noel LOVES Christopher Moore so since I’m about of books to read at home (well, almost) I got those to on hold at the library. Picking them up today. Glad to hear another enthusastic endorsement for his books.

I got your message/comment. Let me know when things calm down for you and we’ll get together!

I couldn’t resist and picked up Bloodsucking Fiends today. It was hard not to just go ahead and buy all his others, since I’m fairly sure I’m going to love them and be impulse buying them one at a time as I finish.

What you go going on this weekend?
