Two days late…

waiting for a paycheck to come by mail, which you then have to take to a bank to deposit… sucks. I have been thoroughly spoiled by direct deposit, and I guess am now realizing that I need to re-budget to compensate.

In the “how could this work get more bizarre” news, I have just been sent a three page “crossreference and procedure” document detailing how to modify our 25 new agent templates. There are 25 directories which must be labelled with a specific “TeamDesign” number, which correspond (via the crossreference) to a specific “AgentTemplate” number in our admin tool. It is just another thing to make me mental. AgentTemplate07 = TeamDesign12 for instance. Why, exactly? There are 25 of each, nobody could make them correspond?

But, it’s really just a nuisance now that I have the “crossreference and procedure” document. You should have experienced me over the past week and half of trying to edit them without knowing what corresponded to what. That’s been fun.

Anywho, I’m just waiting on some required caffeine to finish brewing then I must sit down and wrap my brain around this stuff. Back under the magnifying glass tomorrow at 4pm, where I have to detail what I’ve been working on for two days to the customer. At least this time the response won’t be… “experimenting with the product I’m supposed to be able to support because no one has provided me any documentation.” Yeah, that went over well before.

    So far they’re only airing on New Zealand tv. I haven’t heard if they’re even going to air them anyplace else, but the torrent site I use seems to get them: http://www.tvtorrents.ws/

    Have to save, having watched 4 of the last 6 eps, I’m having a hard time seeing why they cancelled it. I really love this show now.
