RQotD: Death by stereo!

We may already be the last people to go, but just in case we’re not this is me telling you all to go see Batman Begins.
We still haven’t pinned down any Independence Day plans with anyone, and last night during the movie cousin Jennie left a message asking for plans. I told
But, screw all that. Our weekly meeting got pushed up to today to give everyone a “nice long weekend”, but James is surely swamped at work beyond any ability to skip out early. Not that we know what we’d do if he could…
So, plans this weekend? I’m hitting the store — Friday? Saturday? I’m buying hot dogs and buns and burgers and snacks and alcohol and whatever red-white-and-blue frosted goodies I can find. These items I’m willing to pass out here to anyone who happens to be around or transport to any other location that might be appropriate. If no one wants to hang, then I’ll be stuffing my face while I marathon Season 1 and 2 of Samurai Jack on DVD or something. I’d also like to work in at least one decent dinner out, preferably on a patio and preferably with a bottle of wine.
Okay.. enough babble. Lunch. More work. Breathe. It’s all good.

Well. There is a pool party on Saturday that I am kinda sorta suppose to go to which I probably won’t but other than that I have no plans either. I thought I had a grill in the back but I looked yesterday and I don’t so I can’t really offer to grill at my place. I can however offer to cook out over at G’s place which has a pool and many grills. He however is not going to be home so I would have to see how kosher that would be with him. I doubt I am going to be up for getting drunk on the actual fourth due to having to be at work the next day, but Sunday I might be up for going out-out with some recover/chill time on Monday at a location with a grill. How’s any of this sound to you?

Well in that case… how about I volunteer our place for Sunday evening… drinking and non-cookout food. Pizza? Chili, perhaps?
Then Monday we could invade Justin & Nicola’s (they sort of offered) for beer or sodas and cookout food, then a rooftop viewing of whatever local fireworks?
Of course… as soon as I say this, JT will veto me with some “but everyone’s going to Chattanooga” plan…. so. Ugh… that’s my rough plan, but let’s give it a day to hammer out.

we’re going to a party on saturday, but don’t think we have any sunday plans. probably going to both be hungover like mothers, but that is TBD. we need to all do something together, i say. because, dude, they sell fireworks in georgia now. at Target. i swear, i saw a fireworks stand out near us the other day and almost swerved off the road and hit it, i was so excited. but then it would have probably blown up…which just goes to show why they were ever outlawed in the first place.
