Been happy to have found Boomerang added to our cable lineup, but now I’ve got Batman, or rather, the Joker, on the brain from watching cartoons before bed. They should make another Batman movie to followup Batman Begins and let Mark Hamill play the Joker– I just want to see how he behaves while he’s doing that voice (from the animated series).
CNN is now officially on mute. A person who intended to be truly productive today would turn it completely off, I guess. I feel like a virtual rubbernecker.

After this pause to type, I intend to get up and seek out our cats, who were clearly traumatized by the storm last night. When neither the sound of the can-opener, nor the smell of tuna permeating the house can lure a cat out of its hiding place, then something is clearly up that requires investigation. JamesT thinks they’re probably just exhausted from flipping out all night.
And then…. in the rain even, our friendly neighborhood landscapers whip pieces of broken coffee-mug at the front door and windows with their leaf-blowers. That’s a sound that’ll get you up in a hurry with a jolt of adrenaline. RIP: “love” coffee-mug. Sorry I took you outside in the rain last night…
