Poor Kitty, who loves to sleep on my monitor, just moved in her sleep and fell off onto my keyboard. What a rude awakening!
Not that she enjoyed it, but it sure surprised the shit out of me, too.

Well, I wouldn’t say she looked like she enjoyed anything about it. In fact, afterward, she moved to the much safer futon and hasn’t come back for the rest of the day. These crazy cats just want to be nearby if I’m sitting here working during the day. If I’m moving too much for them to be in my lap or right on the desk, then there is usually one on a monitor and the other in a nearby chair.
It was just… so damned unexpected of her to fall, especially since the monitor is sloped downward toward the back. But, instead of just sliding down and off the back, she came off the front, landed… sort of upright, paws on the keyboard, blinked a time or two, then took off for safer sleeping locations. I couldn’t even go after her for a minute because I was laughing too hard.
Silly cat.
