Peek-a-boo!
Flerly: So…. Carly has an LJ and she has friended us both?!?
Chemguru: Hmm… wonder when that happened?
Flerly: Well, she hasn’t had an LJ long, so… recently
Flerly: i was just curious how she found us
Chemguru: The last time I spoke with her, she knew I had one…
Thus,
Howdy! Or should I say… Namaste?

hi. i’m sorry if you thought it inappropriate that i friended you. perhaps an lj etiquette i’m not fully aware of? shall i remove you (both)?

We both friended you back already, so it’s not that! Usually someone who friended you will make some kind of comment to one of your posts to say hi or something. Thus, i asked JT if he’d talked to you and you’d said hi some other way. Since we were both surprised you even had an LJ, we said “Peek a boo!”

well, in that case, glad to have you reading. i have recently enjoyed your posts. as to your questions about the when and how of my knowing of the journals, it was from JT that i learned about LJ, in, like, spring of 2002. he should remember sending me the link; it was around the same time he let me get some music from the fttp. (?) i hadn’t looked at it since then, but my bro recently convinced me to start one, and, as he hardly EVER posts, i was looking for a couple of models.
so, do you also have an interest in meditation and/or eastern religions (in reference to your use of namaste)?

Honestly, I just saw someone had friended me, so I clicked over to read their user info to see how they found me & noticed you had added JT, too. Looking at your other friends, though, I still wasn’t sure how you’d found us, or honestly, who you were, since I didn’t recognize your picture! Anywho, after reading a couple entries, I figured it out, and was just surprised when I messaged JT about it. I just picked up the namaste from your user info, and it seemed like the proper return greeting. Honestly, I had to look it up! I’d have to refer you to my dear girl friend Kit, aka for interest in eastern religions.
All that said, welcome to LJ! Always glad to have new converts! JT rarely posts, and then it’s usually work-techno-babble that he’s just trying to get off his chest. Myself, on the other hand… well you might call me a babbler. I’m too caught up in work and the day to day, so I manage to squelch any urges I have to actually write something worthwhile that might sell by babbling every stupid thought I have into LJ. The excuse is that we know most people on our LJ friends list in real life, and it’s a good way for people to keep up with whats going on with us. Truthfully, though… I just babble when I don’t want to be working.
