Pssssst, sinus infection, pass it on.
How many times have I been to the grocery store, and I keep forgetting to get that new head? Even after someone was so diligent as to put it on the message board for me. What a slacker I am.
Despite my staunch front built up with daily vitamins and strict hydration policies, I seem to be losing the battle with this illness. No amount of honeyed-tea or garlicky-humus is actually managing to stave off this stuffy head and sore throat.
Damn, damn, damn. I have shit to do.
Oh.. and let’s talk about Motley’s new mode of getting my attention: biting me. Say, I’m walking through the kitchen to pick up mail off the table. Motley notices my proximity to her food bowl, which is full of dry food but she has grown accustomed to the canned stuff apparently, so she begins meowing. I look down, see food in the bowl, perhaps say to her There’s already food out, dumbass, then go back to my mail hunt. She then proceeds to walk up and bite me on the foot. I look down with a WTF, cat? and she just stares back up at me with another meow. Not a break the skin bite… just a run my teeth across you sort of thing, but still… If I wasn’t going to treat her to canned food before, I’m sure not going to reward this new biting thing.
That was actually Sunday. Repeat this incident last night at about 2am when I went to get ice from the freezer. Meow. Bite on my calf. WTF?!? This time she realized she’d pissed me off and ran. I’m just trying new things, boss… thinking you were deaf, since you never replied to my meows…
She’s making Kitty into “the sweet one” and that wasn’t an easy job.

She probably missed Samuel and is lashing out at the world. Give her more canned food. 🙂

it really is all about the canned food. She’s biting if she doesn’t get it twice a day now. TWICE a day. She barely touches the dry food now.
To think… she used to share one can a day with Kitty AND Sam, and now she is begging for a half can twice a day. Plus, if Kitty is too slow, Motley will dive into her half, too.
