Again with the no tennis…
We’re still a racquet short, so no tennis probably until next week, except next week is full of concerts and such. It’s all as well, I’ve had shit to do around here in the evenings anyway. Tonight, I had to give Motley a bath and then wash everything she’s touched… once again the house stinks of cat pee! Woohoo! And once again, she decided to soil the places where Kitty likes to sleep.
ANYWHO, so today, three days after payday I ended up having to make the trek up to Kennesaw to pick up a new paycheck. Mine was lost in the mail apparently. I waited while she called the bank to make sure it hadn’t gone through, then did a stop payment on it before she issued a new one. There were only two folks in the office today, so it was nice and quiet. We talked skydiving, and Jackie reminded me that George Bush Sr. had done it on his birthday one year… 86th or something. She wants to try it, so I told her to call me if she ever seriously decided to go!
There is only one remaining parcel out there from my winning eBay auctions. Today’s was a good haul, though. I opened the box giggling with glee and flinging packing paper at the cats. On the downside, a quick stop of The Old Pottery place while I was in Kennesaw yielded zero items in my pattern. Their Pfaltzgraff selection is limited, and they were overflowing with Christmas crap. They said they might have more come springtime.
After rescheduling four times when to come pick up my old dishes, the chick I found through free-cycle has finally given up. I guess I could have asked you LJ friends if anybody needed them first, otherwise, I guess I’ll give free-cycle another go. It’s these cream stoneware dishes, every piece I have is shown in the photo.
Enough babble. Must swap out laundry and finish this pile of work.

Uhm, I want to play tennis with you.
And those plates rock. Blank canvases. For free! Wake up, people.

Considering the things we have in common and could merrily be doing together, you live entirely too far away. =\
