Time goes by… so slowly

The longest three day weekend… ever. I feel almost thankful to be sitting at the desk working again, just because there’s no question about what I should be doing right now. So far today, all our “holiday’d” sites are now “un-holiday’d” , our company website is updated with our new office address, and the mockups for four sites that I noticed were built sometime since last week are now cut and ready to be uploaded — all in all, already a very productive day.

Although, I did make an attempt at working last night, I only managed one site before I talked myself into getting up since it was technically still a holiday. So, I ended up working out some boredom and anger on our bathroom tiles, which do look much better today, thankfully.

The only problem so far with today is that I’ve noticed 2006 has fucked with my daytime, background TV schedule… the process by which I usually flipped on the tube so I could listen to reruns of Star Trek episodes all day. Today I found police videos instead. =\ Well, I’m currently pretty well stocked on audiobooks, so I should be good for a while. God forbid I have to start listening to music again during the day… this barely drowns out the sound of the cats wrestling up and down the stairs.
