and another thing…

Posted in Crazy Wisdom on Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at 4:58 pm by flerly.

yet another thing I hate about this schedule conflict between james and I.. I get off work at 5ish, he knows that, yet he manages to eat “lunch” at 4, so he’s not hungry. So much for my non-home-cooked meal and a movie idea. “So did you go by the apartment today?” it’s 4:45pm, btw. “No, but I planned to before I came home.” Uhuh…. am I dumb to be annoyed that he doesn’t arrange his day around when I’ll be home? Since he has ALL DAY while I’m at work to do things… and EGAD, what a bitch I sound like. This was a dumb rant. He isn’t psychic, he doesn’t know what a shitty day it’s been or how depressed I might feel.. no reason to expect flowers, dinner, and a hug. Going out to eat solo is just icing for this day, though. Icing.

we’re sort of in the same boat with the dinner issue most of the time; why have we not thought to eat with each other? it would take much less time to coordinate and, well, i’m always willing to bring over sushi, ben, and jerry. 🙂

You know.. not only should we coordinate dinner on those nights work has made us too insane to deal with partners of the opposite sex, we should also look into our similar nicknames “Chubby McChubbins” and maybe check out that nice 24-hour workout facility thats within site of my new front door. You in? Did I mention its open 24-hours? Although.. we’ll wait until after your b-day, like u said. That’ll just give my ankle more time to deal.

i’m very much in for the 24-hour workout facility thing. you know, sometimes i wake up at 2:00 am and think, “i really have to pee. but more importantly, now would be a good time to get on a stairmaster”. only i don’t have a stairmaster, so it makes following through very difficult. but yes, very much into mooching off of your new facility. 🙂 and dinner without the poopfaces whenever necessary/applicable.
