This second call reminded me…

Not only am I the “Star Wars” and “Harry Potter” go-to girl for JT’s little brother, I’m now apparently the “MP3 Player” queen. Noah won some contest at school and got his prize today, a mp3 player of what type, I couldn’t tell ya…. all I know is, I had a very sweet message left on the voicemail for me asking that I please come visit again as soon as possible after Mexico to help him learn how to download songs. What a cutie.

On the funny side, you know you’re loved when you get drunk dialed by your mother-in-law on Mother’s Day. I can’t believe I forgot to mention this before… You see, I could tell I missed a call from her, but on my new phone I have neglected to set up a passcode to check my voicemail when I’m out of town, so I couldn’t check it… until Monday when I think to check my voice mail while I’m waiting in an insane line at the bank. I couldn’t help but laugh, and had to rush home to tell JT that his mom TOTALLY drunk dialed me.

To paraphrase: she’d just been thinking of me, and wanted to tell me again thanks for everything we did during the reunion weekend and all the time, and how that’s really the best mother’s day present is just our visits, and then said she had to tell me that if I was in Bristol being half as sweet to my mom as I am to her, that my mom was darn lucky… oh and by the way, she’s been drinking wine and her head is a little fuzzy right now, but she knew it was important to tell me things and hoped this all made sense.

She’s a sweetie, too, but oh how funny is this. Next time I see her, and we’re drinking… she’s totally going to get her phone taken away!
