Midnight Quickie…
We’re back. I didn’t leave my heart in San Francisco, but I may have left my intestines in Mazatlan.
The trip was way too short. Took too few pictures. Not enough margaritas were consumed. Not enough sleep was had.
But, we’re back, as I said, just in time to catch Motley pissing behind my television and find she’s pissed all over the futon again. I’m 99% sure she’d be a good cat if she didn’t live with antisocial, territorial Kitty, who causes her to fight and causes her to piss all over the place marking territory. I’m about ready to buy stock in the Febreeze company, we buy so much, but though I can clean to where my nose doesn’t smell it, apparently the cats still can. Even the no-mark spray from the pet store isn’t working.
I think it may be time to officially separate these cats… shout out if you think you know a good home for Motley, because I dare say, she’ll have to be the one to go because 1) Kitty’s not my cat to give away and 2) who’d want her? She doesn’t seem to like anybody else or any other pet.
Well, all the piss covered stuff that isn’t nailed down is in the washer. Time to unpack.

“Actually, I had a cat once that started peeing right in front of the door when we moved to a new apartment, and a couple of weeks of an anti-depressant to calm him down actually worked well.”
I could take Motley to the vet. Kitty can warn her first.

yeah, i have a friend whose cat used to pee wherever he felt like. the vet said it was stress, gave him some kind of antidepressant, and boom – no more pee.
