This weekend: stay up obscenely late, set alarm for obscenely early, get up, work an hour, take nap, work another hour, take nap, eat, play video games, eat, watch television, stay up obscenely late… repeat… repeat… repeat… repeat….
After quite a dry spell of movie watching, I’ve recently taken in Chicken Little, Wallace & Grommit, Memoirs of a Geisha, Lords of Dogtown, Wedding Date, and Last Holiday. Life on the couch is good. Yesterday we actually went out and about a bit and I didn’t get crazy light-headed while walking, although I did get a hella lot of sleep. Still sort of feverish and popping the tylenol, but generally feeling better. And now… we’re off to a midnight X-men… with the rest of the world.

I had talked extensively about it with my niece over vacation, so I was really looking forward to it. She’d read the book, but was recommending that I watch the movie first, lest I end up like her (and many others, apparently) getting distracted from the movie by elements in the book that were left out. I really enjoyed it, actually, and visually it was just breathtaking.
Oh, and since I have your attention, I’m jealous of your pottery painting day! We got to paint some souvenirs down in Mexico and it was really a highlight of the trip for me, so I’ve been wondering where in town I could go try it again… then you post about your day, where to go, and how much fun it is. It’s like you’re reading my mind! =)
