Evidently I have West Nile… or some other sort of freak sleeping sickness… or perhaps just the worst fucking sinus infection I’ve had in a long while. I am a zombie, barely functioning in some half-awake, desensitized state. Last night’s sinus headache pain lasted the entire night, which is something I also don’t remember happening to me in a long while. You have to be damned tired to fall asleep at all with a chronic headache, but even when you do, the slightest thing wakes you up leaving you miserable in pain again, until you just get so worn out you fall asleep again.

Made it through the day, after spilling my morning drink down my leg and over my shoe as I got out of the car at the customer’s office. Skipped lunch because I was pretty sure the motion of a car or any food would cause something to come of the nausea that was just a vague feeling all day. Came home, functioned a bit, then attempted to pass out as the world conspired to keep me up just a little longer… phone call, phone call, people pressure washing our building, phone call… I mean, WTF… Papa John’s called 15 minutes after I’d ordered carryout to see if we were coming to get it. Um… yes, what did you think? You told me 25 minutes.

But, a nap prevailed, and waking up at 8:30, I feel tons better if not at all well. I could go right back to bed, but instead I have finished up some work for the day, forced some food down, and now will chug some OJ and pass out again.

Ugh. Now you are informed. LJ is not dead, just bored to tears.
