At least this list got me in the mood to make lists today. That’s the only way we’re going to get ready in time. I have so much work and so many errands to run today. I THOUGHT my car was supposed to be ready today, but I didn’t get the confirmation call yesterday as they said I would. Thus, I guess its another day out in the red-rental. Those road humps are kinda fun to take in it anyway…

Plus:
– Marc & Jennie are flying back into town today after an apparently less-than-spectacular vacation snowboarding in Utah, and we don’t know if they’ll be stopping by or staying over. Rough flight out, a friend broke a bone, Jennie wrecked a rented snowmobile, and the runs were just much tougher than they anticpated so they didn’t go out all that much. =\
– We just found out that Mr. T’s fireworks co-conspiritor (aka my brother-in-law) went into the hospital Tuesday with a mystery fever he can’t seem to shake. No update on that yet… I should call. (Adds to list) Edit: e coli infection — fever finally managed, may go home tomorrow. Been a rough week for them. =\
– And this morning we get the news that JT’s grandfather’s brother, who months ago had suffered some kind of head trauma, fell into a coma and was nearly declared brain dead, who then woke up and has been somewhat able to communicate though not really function or make any progress, has finally passed away from kidney failure. He’s been in a hospital here in Atlanta, so the service will probably be here. Edit, And it is here.. family stuff Saturday night and funeral Sunday, so Mr. T may be scarce or late for the party at his own house Saturday.
