**sigh**

Well, my customer has two more minutes to notify me that they want to hold the conference call this morning. It seemed like a good idea, “holding” this time slot for them weekly, but now I just sit around from about 9-9:30 not wanting to start anything for fear I’ll have to drop everything for a conference call.

This week has been less productive than I’d hoped. Something… sinuses mostly… has been getting me down, and the near constant headache just makes me way to shut my eyes. Feeling so weak, too. Probably just battling some bug. Bugs never win, because I only have a 20 feet commute.

Isn’t looking like sis and her crew will be making it to mom’s after all this weekend. Thanks to some unexpected news from AT&T, they’ve decided to close up shop (the storefront for their cellphone business), and move their security, pager & cb business to offices at their home. Thus, they have a lot of stuff to clean out of that shop, new storage areas for their bikes to find, etc., and will be working this weekend instead of relaxing. They turned down our offer of help for the weekend, and insisted we go on up to see mom, so we are. Sis is excited at the prospect of “working from home” for now on!

Mom, however, is sounding very lonely these days, and actually told me she was “bored out of her mind” the other day… guess she’d gotten used to frequent suprise visits from the brother afterall. Must be hard getting back into the old routine for her. As I’ve said before, time to sell that house and move closer.

JT and I have tried to bike some every evening, with our furthest trek being last night’s. It’s still fun. I’m still scared around traffic, but it is still fun. Doesn’t seem like much, but boy are my legs worn out after.

Okay, we’re well past time for a call. Guess I can move on to other things and be productive now.
