*take a breath*
This has been just the busiest week ever, with things coming at us from every side. It was mostly a week of pizza and fast food, since we just didn’t have time for anything else. No biking since Monday, due to rain and other late night activities… piano moving, etc. The bizarre smell that was wafting from our vents upon our return from last weekend seems to have dissipated. The heating & air serviceman checked everything out, gave us a thumbs up, and apologized for not being able to find the source of the odor. At the autozone, we find out what a hassle it is to get them to own up to that 2-year replacement guarantee on their batteries, but after some back & forth, and allowing them to attempt to charge the battery themselves for about an hour, they finally conceded. Stupid car. Oh, and stupid us… last night, JT was so tired when he got home that my bringing in the trash can and getting the mail threw us both off our regular pattern and caused us to leave the garage door open all night. The downstairs is still -8 million degrees all the time while my office is +8 million degrees, we are both in need of various computer parts, and the new hard-drive JT rushed delivery on for Eraser is “too new” for it’s OS to recognize, and thus now I get a new harddrive for my machine and one of my older ones goes to the cause. Nothing is ever easy, or goes as anticipated. We have way too much TV left on the DVR for the week already, with more going on tonight. I did manage to actually watch the “Pie-lette” episode of Pushing Daisies, which sucked me immediately in as soon as I heard the familiar Jim Dale’s voice as the narrator. Little bizarre to hear the voice of your favorite audiobook narrator and have it correspond to something to watch and not just whatever random computer stuff you’re working on. Hadn’t talked to mom in a week, so today she tells me she assumed a weekend with her had “turned us off” of contact with her, and joked we were hours from being considered also estranged. Speaking of estranged, no one has heard from them since Monday morning, so we’re not sure of our current familial status, but thankfully I haven’t had time to worry about it. Tomorrow JT reunites with his own pseudo-estranged uncle and they hook up for a day at Road Atlanta for Petit Le Mans. Me? I get to spend the day finishing a contract job I accepted that is due Monday morning. Already orders are coming in on the “Website Customization” pages that occupied my time this week, and it just went live yesterday. I cannot wait for Guitar Hero: Legends of Rock, and am currently in a dilemna over whether to pre-order this for PS2 or PS3, even though we don’t yet have a PS3. If it seems like a no-brainer, you don’t have my brain. Or JT’s for that matter. Heck, I’d order it for the Wii if there was any idea when the extra controllers would ever be available, but as of yet, you can only order the one that comes with a copy of the game. Amazon taunts me with a million cool things that I didn’t know I even wanted. It’s like they know this is my birthday month. Wait, what am I saying, they know everything these days. There is no privacy. There is only the Rock of Love reunion this Sunday. No wait, I mean Spycraft… are you coming? Okay, enough babble with that breath. Time to work on the contract job. /end run-on

You’re so funny! Sounds like you’ve been busy as a bee! That’s good, tho. You can’t think of all the stuff you should be doing but aren’t, right? so, take a breath and relax a little. You have some time alone this weekend, try not to do too much, get the contract work done and then sit back and prop your feet up and watch some tivo!! That’s my rx for a good weekend! 🙂 <3 ya J
