I keep saying to myself, it’s just our first adventure… it’s just our first adventure… it’s just our first adventure. And then I say, no one will want to play again if they have to make a new character already.

And then I remember that these critical failures are just versus the minions so I don’t feel like a cop-out for not activating any of these critical failures with action dice and turning them into all out you-done-fucked-up moments. Mostly, I just hope that tonight got it out of our system before we meet the non-rent-a-cops who might actually aim, take their own cover, or wear armor.

FYI: We do plan to be at the cabin next weekend, but also plan to be back in time for Sunday afternoon gaming, so we anticipate being on for next Sunday.
