Little River Big Breakdown

The clock is ticking down….

The list of things to do before I can leave town for vacation is very long. Oh so very long. Edit: Sure hope we have plans for things to do on this trip… wouldn’t want to risk violating the rules.

Yet, I’ve taken time to make a lemonade stand.(On my profile)

Today’s biggest headaches are a tie for first place.

1) The mental Kitty will not leave me alone. I’ve tried everything I can think of, including trying to “follow her to the well to rescue whomever”, but nothing works. She’s up in my grill, meowing, rubbing her gums on things, walking on my keyboard, pushing my mouse around… whether I’m talking on the phone or not. I threw her off the desk a couple times, and she proceeded to pet herself on my feet for a while before making her way back up on the desk.

2) Customer is complaining it’s been a week and he’s not heard back about an issue he reported. I discover this is partially my fault, because he sent the issue in as a “reply” to an email that I had sent letting him know an entirely different support issue was complete. The reply went only to me, and not to support, and I didn’t notice it as more than a thank you, since he neglected to even change the subject line.

I’d rather be…. doing anything. This desk, this heat, this crap, this week… sucks. I want to ride my bicycle.
