We wanted to rock and roll all night, but were worn out from partying every day.

Read the Ferrett’s take on the appeal of Rock Band here.

Thanksgiving went well. Ended up with tons of leftovers, which we have been living/snacking on. Fam visit went well. Riffed on three movies while they were here. Played a ton of Rock Band, too. I’m a little disappointed in the guitar controller with Rock Band. They seem to have made the guitar parts easier on songs just because the controller is harder to use. And for expert, rather than making the notes so much harder, they just make you fail faster. The drums are fun and maddening frustrating to the non-experienced, and most of us did eventually try the singing.

Family left Saturday morning, and I spent Saturday getting sick. Marc & Jennie came in late Saturday and spent the night playing Rock Band with us, too. By Sunday I was full-blown ick-sick, and here we are today.

But, it’s Monday, and there are many work things to be done. I’ve already begged off going in for a weekly meeting tomorrow due to feeling crappy. Now I just have to figure out how to work with a nose that’s leaky like a faucet.

I think everyone’s been sick since Turkey Day. Glad you’re enjoying your new game! Feeling any better now? Still icky-sicky? Hope not! 😀 <3 J
