Is it weird that it seems like longer?
We just got a really lovely houseplant delivered as a gift from our realtor, Rita Crosby, wishing us happy anniversary on our house purchase! James and I were just talking about it, and he says it only feels like maybe 6-months to him. Me, I think it feels longer than a year. I guess it just really feels like home to me.
Anywho… I turned my lunch hour into a hair appointment hour, and I have finally tamed the lazy shag I’ve been sporting for too long. Found a nice little place in Tucker than I’m pretty happy with that only charged me $38 as opposed to the $100+ of Siggers. Granted, Siggers is a hell of a good pampering experience, and they do some great color, but my budget sure couldn’t handle it. For a cut AND a color in the same visit, then you’re talking $200+. Yeah… um… no.
As it turns out we are actually staying home this weekend — as in no traveling — though we already have quite the list of things we must accomplish. And, in there I’m hoping to make Saturday and Sunday’s Bikram 90 at www.decaturhotyoga.com to finally try out a hot yoga class. The 90 minute one is supposed to be the best to learn the poses for beginners. It is 9-10:30 am or 4:30-6pm Saturday and 9:30-11 am Sunday. If anybody wants to go with, you can do an adult drop-in for $15 or get an unlimited week for $25 on their website. Any takers, let me know!
Oh, and internet presale or no, Coldplay tickets for Phillips are just too much. $97 each!?! Certainly not for the crappy locations ticketmaster said was available this morning. Meh… this just isn’t the year for spending mad-money on concerts.

$200+ for cut and color?! Wow, and I get twitchy about paying $15/$20 for a wet-cut. Although, my last haircut was free, since the 12+ inches that came off went to the Locks of Love campaign.
BTW, on totally different topic, I saw the magnet signs on JT’s car today, since he actually parked nearby for a change. They look very cool =)

Had to pickup the A/V receiver from the shop today. Didn’t think I could strap a 90-pound box to the back of my bike… =]
