hrm well..

aren’t we off to a great start… my work lunch was postponed as the person who arranged it had to bail for some certainly forgivable medical reasons, and it seems JamesT’s lunch got reinterpreted, so I guess the two of us will do lunch for a change after he showers. Wonder what Wednesday is supposed to be in “the rotation”. If Comcast will stay running today, after another crapout last night, maybe I can actually get some shit done.

Also, having finished Watchmen, I find I’m dying to discuss. To distract myself, I’m halfway through listening to New Moon — though I’m finding the juevenile POV of the main character frustrating as hell. Pity I’m not actually reading it, as those are the parts I could easily skim past and tell myself, No, she isn’t REALLY that stupid. Unfortunately, being read to makes every retarded notion hit home. Still trying to figure out why this is being made into a movie. It’s sort of painful to read… as I compare it to Laurell K. Hamilton, without all the sex to distract you from the mediocre plotlines.
