From: Guess who
Subject: Favor, ASAP!
XXXX has 40+ agents and they don’t have PowerPoint, so they can’t see my presentation that I emailed to them about the site pimping. Can you put this on a cd so I can mail it to them?
Um… if they don’t have PowerPoint to view your presentation via email, then they won’t have it to view it on a cd either (dumbass implied). So, your favor is actually will you turn my powerpoint presentation into something else that they can view, ASAP?
It really had been too quiet.
Also, boo on my next Bloomington IL trip being after August. Believe it or not, Stone Temple Pilots is playing THERE on a Wednesday night in August, but nothing having to do with work ever really works out though…

Already did just that, actually.
The further dumbass notion here is dude has the same access to our Adobe Create PDF account as I do, and he would never think of using it.

I tend to forget that there’s a rigamarole you have to go through to generate PDFs on PCs. Macs have spoiled me in that regard.

No, no, no! He wants you to ship them a copy of ppt on a cd for them! You’ve ruined it all!

I’m slowly getting her to use OpenOffice in that regard. But, as stated, they have an Adobe web account. /me shrugs…

Maybe they need the free Powerpoint Viewer. Or just turn it into Flash and post it on a website somewhere.
