Saturday night is alright?

JamesT will be at Road Atlanta Saturday doing his usual thing with “the guys”, and as such will not be able to accompany me to a “drinking and gaming” party thrown by a co-worker on Saturday night. There will be booze, pool, darts, Rock Band, karaoke, and goofiness… and I’m debating going solo. But, I thought I’d throw it out there in case any friendlies (or former co-workers) might want to go with me. It starts at 7.

Yesterday’s birthday party day went really well — Lloyd showed up to buy us all lunch out, then we gorged on ice-cream cake. Didn’t have too much work to do, so we got to sit around and gab mostly. All of my attempts to teach 2-year old Maddy to limbo, pole vault, or tug-of-war did not work, but she continues to find the 3-foot bamboo sticks someone left at the office to be a favorite toy while she’s there.

Today, errands and doc visit, hopefully done by early afternoon. My neck is really aching today for no apparent reason, too. Meh… time to get to things.

Edit: Well, looks like plans may change a bit. We just got word JamesT’s step-dad’s father died this morning, and we’ll likely be driving up Friday morning for the funeral service.
