I feel like a goob, because essentially last time I post about “oh, i’m going to do this stuff…” and now I’ve got a “i did all that stuff” post in mind, but well, all that stuff has been fun!

I had so much fun on the Oakland Cemetery twilight tour, and was just unjustifiably happy to eat dinner at Six Feet Under across the street from it. Then Saturday the pumpkin-carving day was a blast all day… from the potential for filling up stranger’s little convertibles in the parking lot of the farmer’s market with our cart full of pumpkins, to the actual hanging with friends old and new to carve, to the inevitable rock band afterwards, it was just a great day. Then Sunday turned into a fun day of hanging with James’ little brother, who was just so psyched that I’d want to celebrate my birthday and his birthday together. James’ dad and Kathy took me out to dinner and plied me with yet another cake and a birthday song, then we played rock band at their house for a while… because that’s what we do!

Tonight I’ve convinced a couple folks to support my sushi habit, and tomorrow the coworkers are taking me to lunch. Got a sweet message from Sis, too, who I found out is STILL sickly and was thankful we got to have a fun birthday weekend early, since she was sick for her actual birthday.

But, alas, I really do have some work to do today, and there’s still that pesky emissions and birthday tax to pay so I can continue to drive legally into next month. But still… October is rocking, and my two-weeks-of-birthday seems to be going strong! =)

Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate Saturday! I really had such a good time with you all…. yes, even you pantless Justin. =)
