Sometimes it just doesn’t seem fair
So much for thinking I’d have more time to devote to working out after the deadline. I can barely stay off the phone now, as it seems every customer wants to have a live conference about their new site.
On the bright side:, yesterday discovered the best quick workout song ever: Madonna – Hung Up (SDP Extended Vocal) (14.5megs) – 8 minutes of upbeat, makes for 1000 steps. Managed to do that twice yesterday in a couple breaks. Then, boredom set in last night so I decided to use the elliptical while I watched The Daily Show for 1/2 hour. All in all, way more exercise than I’ve seen for the past week.
Today, though. my head is stopped up, I can’t stop sneezing, and I feel like crap. Headache started on conference call #1 and hasn’t stopped after Tylenol or the quick shower I took between calls #3 and #4 today.
I can’t even remember if I took a vitamin today, could barely drag my butt out of bed this morning, and all I’ve thought about in any spare moment was about going back to lie down. To quote Jonathan today, we have 7 million things left to do on these sites and -4 days to do them. And I’m supposed to start my new “fun” project tomorrow — which I’m nervous about.
I’m sure exercise would help with this anxiety, and perhaps wake me up, but alas, I’m a puss about working out at home when I’ve got roomies working from home, too. Although, yeah for getting up and finding the dishes already done today. Go roomie.
Please don’t let me be getting sick again.
