As to diet, Bally’s also suggests that for your best 30 day results, that you figure your caloric intake needs by your “ideal weight” x 10. Say, if you want to be 130 lbs, choose a 1300 calorie diet plan.

Whoa. That’s like doing all the machines on top of the running I’m doing and eating less. That’s hard core.

They use that 30 minute of cardio, then the cooldown and stretching all as warmup for your strength or ab routine. They have a guide to “quick sets” which is supposed to make your strength routine last only 30 minutes, so in theory, this is like.. an hour and 15 minutes of exercise on those days, bit less on the ab days. Sounds passible… but when you throw in their suggested DIET plan… egads!

I can be a complete slug sleeping 1/2 the day and still eat more than 1400 calories. I can’t image working out like a fiend and being hungry all the damn time. I guess they offer you some suggestions on filling, low calorie options to get the most for every bite, and I can see where this would make spending calories on something like sugar or candy lead right to starvation.

But, in theory.. people do this. If you sign up for the 30-day challenge, as in all those people in their commercials, this is your plan. If you could stick to it, damn it would be a nice kick-start, though, wouldn’t it?

But that’s just it, Who could stick to it. I mean it’s like a full time job in itself.

well, working that much exercise in every day would be a huge chore, but living with that level of hunger would probably cause me to be non-functional at work. I wonder if these people take a leave of absense or something to do this routine…

Perhaps if we were celebrities, and our livelihood depended on our looks, we could set aside 4-hours of our day for exercise, hire a chef to make our 1400 calories of food the most tasty calories we ever put in our mouth, and perhaps also hire some clowns or little dogs to carry in our purses to distract us from being hungry all the time.
