Figuring Activity Points for WW

Posted in Crazy Wisdom,Workout on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 12:57 pm by flerly.

The activity points that you count for ANY exercise depend on YOUR weight and perceived intensity. Someone that is in really good shape, doing the regular workout might have a lower perceived exertion level than someone who weighs more and is not in as good shape, doing the lower-intensity version.

Here’s the formula for figuring APs. You should calculate it for your weight and perceived intensity.

Light Activity:
Weight X Minutes X .000232 = Activity Points

Moderate Activity:
Weight X Minutes X .000327 = Activity Points

High Activity:
Weight X Minutes X .0008077 = Activity Points
