Bootcamp – Day 16
Today was “House of Pain” — which is so mis-named. We’ve done way more painful days than this.
This was a series of cones set up as workout stations, each cone had a card with an exercise on it. You do 1 minute of the exercise, then run a lap around the entire circles of cones, pass the station you just did and stop at the next station. Mostly arm and leg exercises, but there was jump rope, arm work with the stretchy bands, squat jumps, squat thrusts, burpees, mountain climbers, fire hydrants, plank, and a horrible one called “dive bomber”. Each time we ran, we did something different — run forward, run backward, skip, shuffle sideways… Vigorous day, but certainly not the most painful.
There were so many little groups at the stations to keep up with, he had one more helper today to wrangle everyone. Tomorrow we’re supposed to try some kickboxing. That should be interesting.
