Babe, you know you’re growing up so fast…

Flashback, last evening, all of us delirious from the heat and humidity, fleeing the crowd of the Stone Mountain laser light “extravaganza”, wandering down strange roads in search of food…. when JamesT casually spots this joint and says “Hrm. The motor inn… wonder what’s their price for flight?”

Then, of course, hilarity ensued.

*sigh* good times…

Still no word this morning from about moving help… I really hope this hasn’t turned into a U-Haul nightmare. Fat lot of good it does to make a reservation, apparently. Kind of sitting around, hungry, waiting for JT to unwind enough from work to want to go find food…. just too hot to want to cook.

Kicked around the Contour.org forums this morning, reading old posts, just goofing and bored, and nosily wondering how active JT has been on there lately… kinda looking for the qt picture of the VW bug with the daisy wheels.. and happened across a post on top 5 girl cars… which is apparently forum-member’s notions of the top 5 cars you’ll spot a hot girl in…

Was happy to see Eclipse made JT’s list, not that he meant mine =P (Also will have to inquire why the v6-mustang at the top of his list earned a goofy-face icon – I’m so girly and jealous!)

Oh well.. already enjoyed the eclipse today, top open, windows down, sun glasses on, radio blaring, cruising up the interstate to run to work to pick up a stupid fax… but the fun drive made up for the reason. Now, I guess I should go ahead and get that weekend home-work done, so I don’t have to spend as much of my vacation day tomorrow in the office finishing it.
