I have to knock it off…

Posted in Crazy Wisdom on Saturday, July 27, 2002 at 5:51 pm by flerly.

curse everyone/everything for making avi files so damned difficult to play without figuring out what the hell codec was used to create them… what kind of torment is it to have all these Aqua Teen Hunger Force episodes on the harddrive and not be able to view them.

So of course, since I’m already on the downward spiral, I decide to go through the old stored files, reading over the bad-old-days in the form of copies of chat logs, which always serves to twist a knife in my gut. Just not the best day… Janow was unimpressed with my choice of birthday gifts, the kitchen is piled high with dirty dishes and garbage, there’s a pile of laundry to be done, and I’m just a stupid, bored lump here attached to a chair in front of a pc. I should either go shower and do something productive (possibly waking the sleeping JamesT) or at least go watch some uplifting movie downstairs to get over this funk. I SHOULD go see Lilo & Stitch again, but I already plopped $6 down on Road to Perdition today, which was alright… a good rating from me since it had Tom Hanks in it, and I just can’t stand him. I’ve got Atlantis sitting downstairs to watch, which I know will be a dissapointing Disney flick, yet uplifting, or I have Donnie Darko, Joy Ride, and 13 Ghosts… none of which seem to inspire anything in me at the moment.

Oh well… I guess step one is moving away from the computer.
