Today…

… I was closer to quitting my job than I think I’ve ever been.

… I had a glass of wine with lunch (sushi, btw) to help with the headache.

… I sent an email to the MIA Operations Manager telling him I was going home to work for 2 days and if he didn’t like it I would probably quit.

… I admitted to an idiot-girl who will probably tell on me that I “bad-mouthed” our company president at the customer meeting yesterday.

… I casually vented about the wording of a few of the 20+ reworks that had appeared in my inbox in the 2 days I was gone to an engineer, thinking they dealt with that crap all the time, and was shocked to hear that I know have most of engineering’s sympathy and they wonder why I don’t quit.

… I was distressed that my normal 1 site start to finish in 30 days schedule has turned into 8 sites start to finish in 1 1/2 weeks.

… I was floored by an amazingly sensitive thing JT did to make our weekend trip something that I can look forward to.

… I have discovered that taking a cat nap barely makes up for missing out on a real nights sleep.
