Signs Signs
Everywhere there’s signs
Blocking up the scenery
Breaking up my mind
Do this, don’t do that
Can’t you read the sign

Not totally related, but when the thought occurred to me, this song popped into my head…. I was thinking our bedroom looks like a scene from Signs with all the cups sitting around with just a bit of water left in them.

And the sign said long haired freaky people need not apply…

Work today was… intense. My dual / now triple purpose rubberband-o-remembrance did the trick in some areas, but left me high and dry in the “watch my spending” department, since I spent lunch at Target today instead of going to Cheese. Not that I didn’t want to spend the money on cheese, or didn’t want Mexican food… Billy wasn’t going cuz he had to entertain visitors and I didn’t really want to go without him today. Yesterday/last night was just a little.. intense I guess, and I just didn’t want to sit there and end up being antisocial because I can’t talk about what I really want to talk about… You know? I get like that.. if there’s something on my mind and it’s not the right time or place to discuss it, I’ll be damned if I can make myself have a decent conversation about other stuff.

Saturday, I feel right
I been drinking all day
Yes I got a date, a midnight ride
I had to get it away
Yeah
I’m not a loner, I’m not a fool
Don’t need a reason, reason to be cool
I got my whiskey, I got my wine
I got my woman, and this time the lights are going out
(Saturday night)
I’m high
(Saturday night)
High ‘n’ dry

Yeah.. nobody knows that song…

Oh well.. I just realized it’s time for Buffy so WTF am I doing sitting here thinking about working but really just LJing again…

I do need to ponder some things about last night further, though. Tried to get JamesT to talk, but I said it all goofy and I think he thought I was just trying to lure him into a bear hug. =) Oh well, maybe I was.
