ya know…

Usually when the most difficult things are going on in my life, you’ll find this journal falls by the wayside….

Many things have happened to make last week hell, the weekend stressful, and to make me look so forward to a few days break out of town.

Let’s see.. I’ll admit to being a stressful, emotional girl who lets little arguments with people send me to the bathroom to cry, during work. Crying is always the first response, then comes the anger. Fortunately for me, there wasn’t anybody to take the anger out on when I got home. Fortunate for everyone, I think. Except then, it just gives me too much time to think and rethink things that I really have no way of affecting right now. I know a certain other chica in our house who made a long drive doing a lot of the same fruitless thinking. I’ve spent too much time on the phone rehashing the same stuff because that’s all we have the power to do.. talk, and speculate.. and wait patiently for people we care very much about to get to a place where we can help them through their rough times.

The most wonderful man in the world, sent me flowers for no good reason…. but the shittiest flower delivery service in the world, FTD, botched the delivery. I hope they come today… or else I hope they refund his money. It was such a nice thought that at this point it doesn’t really matter whether I actually get them.

I had a strangely pleasant weekend with an empty apartment. Got some work done, cleaned, finish wrapping things, even watched a leisurely flick or two. Went psycho and even hung up Mag & Jim’s curtains when I had really just gone into the room to water the plant and put it in the window. All this was in between the multiple hour-long phone calls….

Well happy day.. gave Billy the tabletop foosball game this morning, and he and Jason are in his office playing it right now. I keep hearing Jason’s voice, “He shoots! He scores!” I’m pleased.

Oh well. Best get on this site so I can depart today. The plan is to be gone by 2.
